reKept requests read-only access to your X profile, confirmed email, and bookmarks. It stores imported content and derived text so you can search, ask questions, and receive a digest you choose to enable.

Access tokens are encrypted. Library routes require account authorization. Search questions and private content are excluded from product analytics. reKept uses its own event database rather than a third-party analytics subscription.

Cloudflare hosts the application and data. When configured, Workers AI processes content for search embeddings, image text, and transcripts. To answer a question, reKept sends your question and up to six relevant library passages to the configured answer provider: Cloudflare Workers AI or OpenAI. Stripe handles subscription payments. Source availability and processing are subject to the relevant provider terms.

For OpenAI answers, reKept disables saving responses for later retrieval. OpenAI's separate abuse-monitoring and other retention rules still apply; this setting does not guarantee zero retention. See OpenAI's data controls.

You can revoke integration tokens, disconnect X, stop your digest, and delete your account in Settings. Forwarding an email shares the content present in that email; it does not grant access to your account.
